A proactive policy of diversity based on the prevention of every type of discrimination, to promote equal opportunities
The kind of work we do and the sites at which we work (mostly correctional facilities) naturally steer our company and all of our employees towards non-discrimination, respect of differences and open-mindedness.
GEPSA has chosen to reinforce its commitment to equal opportunities through a proactive policy of diversity and the prevention of any type of discimination: this policy consistent with that in force at ENGIE Cofely and, more broadly, throughout Groupe ENGIE. Indeed, the Group has obtained the renewal of the “Label Diversité” issued by AFNOR, certifying commitment to diversity for all the Group’s branches and subsidiaries in France, for a period of 4 years.
This continuous improvement approach particularly focusses on the types of initiatives that benefit junior employees (for instance young people in work-study contracts), seniors, workers with disabilities and gender diversity. It also targets all other aspects of diversity, such as origin, political and union opinions, sexual orientation, etc.
We are convinced that diversity is a key factor in progress and that it is of great value to the company, essential to its vitality and performance. Diversity enriches communication and enhances the development of skills, bringing different points of view together and generating innovation: that’s why our HR policy is guided by diversity in the day-to-day worklife.
